It is likely because you have no relevant user of "300" in exchange
voicemail. your voicemail rule does should just redirect to exchange sending
the same digits as to sipx and exchange instead of hardcoding one user via
the rule.

So, can you dial "7+sipxuser" and get to the exchange system? If so, does
exchange recognize the "user" part?

I still don't understand why I am not being redirected by default to
the Exchange Voicemail if I configured user's UM for Exchange
Voicemail.  Unless you are saying that this default functionality only
works for SIPX's Voicemail.  In which case I am forced to forward the
calls to the Exchange Voicemail Mailbox or 7300.

Also, the greeting selection in UM section, doesn't really have
relevance to Exchange Voicemail.
