To give an update on this flowroute issue for anyone who is interested,
I have an open ticket with them and here is there latest response:

~~~~~
We have not received an update regarding this from our ULC; however, we
have added a new Tier-1 ULC to expand our coverage. These calls should
now be routing over the new ULC and you should not be experiencing this
issue. I will leave your ticket open, however, until we are able to
resolve this issue with our former ULC which does have this issue with
session timers.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope the new ULC we
have added resolves these issues for you.
~~~~~

We've only had a couple of 20+ minute calls in the past week (still not
in production) and we've not had the disconnect issue.
