"I configured multiple interfaces on the sipxecs server"
I think this is where your problems started. I don't believe this is
supported in any way.

What is the relationship between the sipxecs server default gateway
and the auto-attendant. This question is related to a very strange
problem I discovered when changing the default gateway. The issue
involved the following:
1. I configured multiple interfaces on the sipxecs server. This was
related to providing internet access to the server at a client site
that did not have a firewall. The firewall was in route to the site
but I needed access to provide update to the original configuration of
the server.
2. I changed the default gateway of the server to that of the Upstream
Internet router. This gave the server immediate internet access.
3. This change did not affect incoming or outgoing calls but the
auto-attendant ceased to function. No voicemail or operator functions
worked. I would get a timeout error when dialing 101 or 100 of
selecting the voicemail button.
After several days of troubleshooting and recreating the server, I
noticed the deletion of the server default route immediately broke the
auto-attendant feature. The version of code is 4.2.1 and this is
easily reproduced and fails each time the gateway is changed.
Reverting the gateway to the original configuration immediately causes
the system to be completely operational.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
