Setting up fax service in 4.4.0, either dialing to the internal fax extension or to the fax DID, the CED tone (the initial 2100hz tone) cuts out after about 1 second or slightly less. It is supposed to last 2.6 to 4 seconds. It subsequently continues to keep the line open but remains silent: no turn-around preamble or ID is ever sent. Any ideas what might be causing it to cut out prematurely?
