Do you mean this is the way the sipX project sees a user agent or is
this the way the SIP community commonly sees it?
I'm looking at defining a "shareable SIP UA" that would allow different
media applications (a sopftphone, an IM client, ...) to leverage on its
services for all SIP signaling, keeping for themselves all the media
processing. Based on your responses, I'm now wondering if this makes
sense?! What are your views on this?
