I managed to create a working prototype simply using the SipUserAgent class but since i have now the need to stop the service and start it again on different network address and/or port i have to shutdown the useragent and restart it again.
At first i tried with shutdown but it hanged forever and i read on the list i should have start()'ed it (i didnt do that before) and i also added lineMgr and RefreshMgr (what are they? why are they needed? is there a paper or pointers on sipXtacklib architecture?) and now it closes but after a while i get a crash on freeServerT (i can provide a call stack if needed)
any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

P.S. i compiled sipXtack from sources (svn) alon with sipXCall and sipXport... where do i find the unit testing framework?
