Asterisk has a long standing bug in that it doesn't process subscribe requests for mailboxes. It goes through the motions to be compatible with a large number of soft and hard phones, returning a 200 OK response to the subscriptions, but the voicemail notices come in on their own Call ID.
Is there any simple solution to handle these and raise an event to the application (something I am missing)? I realize this is a problem with Asterisk, but most softphones and hard phones work anyways, so I would like to as well.
