Hi,
I have the following observations:
a.. On slow machines, irrespective of the codec used, the crashing sound
occurs (happens on my desktop, which is an Intel Celeron 1.7 GHz, 256 MB RAM)
whereas all is fine on a faster machine. I think there is a delay before the
codec used is detected and thus the decoding is not done correctly.
b.. On a faster machine the crashing sound occurs when ยต law is used, this
issue is fixed by the patch sent by Dieter.
Thanks,
Hitesh
