Long time back, I once tried to link my VC++ 7.1 project to sipxtapi binaries build with VC++ 8.0. The linking went fine, but the application never started, it crashed with the same message as you get, "Unable to initialize". Also, I link to MFC as static libraries, could this be the cause of problem? I have VS 2005 and VS 2003 installed on my machine, but I never had this kind of problem or never had it reported from anywhere else. Thank you.
