A few month ago, I wrote a mprDecodeInbandDtmf.cpp that works quite well.

I can try to post it here if you are interested.

Subject: [sipxtapi-dev] Various methods of detecting DTMF

Hi all,

now I'm experimenting with various phone stations, and I'm currently testing
the Cisco CME. I'm running into problems with detecting DTMF tones, Cisco
doesn't seem to allow me to specify anything other than inband-dtmf.
Somehow, no matter how the Cisco CME is configured (sending DTMF through SIP
NOTIFY, rtp-nte or anything other), when a call is established it seemed to
always be configured to use inband-dtmf (Negotiated dtmf was always reported
as inband-dtmf). Various documents said that notification about DTMF through
SIP INFO was in fact the default, but I never received any INFO messages.

So I would like to know if anyone has had any luck connecting to a Cisco PBX
using sipxtapi, and successfully received DTMF events? Also, are there any
plans to add support for inband DTMF in sipxtapi? I remember there was some
discussion going on about this a few weeks ago, but I cannot remember what
the plans were to support inband dtmf.

Regards,
DanĂel
