I'm doing some tests with a Windows application using the sipXtapi library by connecting to Pintels Interopability test server (interop.pingtel.com). The associated registrations page shows that I'm not sending the "+sip.instance" as part of the "Contact:" header when registering a line. My understanding is that this should be a globally unique and persistent value associated with a particular user agent (so the registration could be associated with earlier registrations from the same user agent even if its IP address had changed). How do I specify this to the sipXtapi library, or is this feature not supported? I haven't spotted it in the initialization or configuration functions (note: I'm using a snapshot of the sipXtapi code that's about 6 or 7 weeks old).
