I'm not too familiar with this code, but I think it could be done by
wait-on-read
model. That is we could request STUN and TURN here, and block when
IP will be requested from socket.
It is just a thought, so may be not well applicable to this situation,
though.


The way I'm understanding Alex's idea is if numCodecs is any value,
including zero, wait on the socket till data is available (wait-on-read),
read and check for STUN and TURN requests, and if numCodecs is 0, just drop
RTP on the floor, otherwise pass it on to those who need it...
Am I understanding this right? (I have a feeling not quite).
