I need to set up a number of calls so that I can receive voice multiplexed to a
single speaker from several different endpoints. While in this mode (listening
to voice from a number of sources) I need to be able to set up "hot calls"
where I can continue to hear voice from the original N connections, but I also
have full bi-directional communication with the "hot callee". So I would hear
N+1 voices and transmit to just the 1. When I disengage the hot call then I
should be able to transmit voice to the original N in a broadcast mode (they
can all hear my voice).
How might I use the sipxtapi API to support this mode of operation? If it helps
I'll follow this e-mail up with another that contains a picture showing the
concept.
