I have not worked with GIPS library, so could not provide much information
on this, sorry. I know Bob Andreasen have a closed-source addon to
sipXmediaAdapterLib which replace sipXmediaLib with GIPS VoiceEngine,
but I do not know anything about it. You may contact Bob directly if you want
to know more about it.

Also you may replace only some parts of sipXmediaLib instead of full substitute.
There are several known places, which are of pretty bad quality in sipXmediaLib
(jitter buffer, PLC, VAD), so using GIPS parts for them will improve
quality a lot.
