I can not replicate the problem. I hate that! I reverted the code to remove the protection, re-compiled / re-ran the test suite, and I could not replicate the issue. Yesterday, it 100% consistent, every time the test suite called teardown() I would get the problem and it would crash. Today the whole test suite runs to completion without any problem. I can not explain it... <sigh>.
