Hello again, I am finally making some progress regarding compiling the media-update-branch, however there is a detail that I don't understand how to workaround:
- I am using Visual Studio 2008, therefore the FFmpeg inline assembly code cannot be correctly parsed; - I compiled FFmpeg using MinGW and have linked my projects to the correspondent libraries and include folders; - In file MpdH263.cpp, there is an include of <bitstream.h> , which on the first hand I don't seem to produce when I do "make install" o When building FFmpeg in MinGw I use "../svn/configure -enable-shared -enable-gpl -enable-swscale -enable-memalign-hack" o Is there some other parameter that produces the bitstream.h file? - I bypassed this file by copying it from the source into the include folder, but when I compile the sipx medialib it parses the bitstream.h file which has the dreaded inline assembly that IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PARSED IN MSVC++. - Is there some way to include this file without having to parse it? I have been having loads of issues when trying to compile the media-update branch for windows. I have installed all of the referenced dependencies, including FFmpeg, but there are both issues with missing files in the mediaLib project and VideoSupport project, as well as compiler errors when interpreting some of the files that have inline assembly code. I see loads of people posting here that they have managed to build this media-update branch, but I just can't seem to do it. Could someone please post a list of every dependency that was required to install, including the version? (FFmpeg for example updated its source code, so a lot of the code used in sipXtapi is deprecated...)
