Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: systemimager-client Group: v3.2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Ole H. Nielsen (ohnielse) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: si_prepareclient does not understand /etc/fstab Initial Comment: Recent Redhat releases, such as Fedora Core 3 and Enterprise Linux 4.0 (RHEL 4.0) use the following syntax for swap spaces in /etc/fstab: LABEL=SWAP-hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0 The si_prepareclient gives an error message when encountering such lines, and after SI installation there are no swap spaces available. A workaround is to change such /etc/fstab lines into: /dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0 prior to running si_prepareclient. However, it would be better if SystemImager would understand the new Redhat syntax. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100259&aid=1216344&group_id=259 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
