Hello, my name is Cory. There is a question within the system Imager faq asking
if the DHCP server has to be on the image server. The answer says no, if you are
using dhcp you can use option 100 and set its value to the ip address of the
imager server. I am NOT very knowledgable about dhcp, so I am not sure what that
entry would look like in the dhcp.conf file, or what it does. The faq says that
if you execute mkdhcpstatic to configure your dhcp.conf file it will ask you for
the ip of the image server and add the entry for you. I am confused by this
statement as wouldn't you be running the mkdhcpstatic command on your image
server editing its dhcp.conf file?, How will this help as i thought you would
have to edit the one that is on the dhcp server itself? So does that mean that
you install certain rpms on the dhcp server too and then run mkdhcpstatic? is
their a way you can do this manually can someone clarify this?

I ask this because I am attempting to run this sort of setup, so if there are
any general suggestions besides to this question about this it would be
appreciated thank you.

Thanks in advance,
Cory.
