correct - the latest *stable* release is 3.0.1.
the latest devel is 3.1.5, and it has multicast support..

flamethrower isn't required by 3.1.5, it's just an add-on.

what conflicts are you seeing?  the latest of everything should work together..
(3.1.5 is the latest systemimager)
