Chances are SystemImager's
kernel could not detect your storage adapter. I wouldn't really test
SystemImager with laptop hardware if I were you - just test it on some older
hardware like PIII or something :-)
Also, what version of
SystemImager are you using?

Test
Image Server: compaq dc7100
Test client:
compaq nc6120 laptop (I hear the moans, could it be the laptop HDE - IDE
driver?)
Both running fedora
