I've been using SystemImager for handling installing my server image on
IBM x345 servers,
without any problems.
We are now starting to use x346 servers. The x346 uses a differnet SCSI
Controller
and Network Cards then the x345.
The normal SystemImager standard boot cd would not work for the x346 with
it's
Broadcom Network Cards.
I pulled down Peter Mueller's kernel and burn the ISO image to get around
the issue
with the network cards.
But now I have a problem with the Adaptec 7902 Controller.
Booting from the CD is using the aic79xx driver.
I need to recompile the kernel to instead used the a320raid driver.
Has anyone else run into a similair problem and can offer a differnet
route to take?
Or point me to a kernel with the required support?
