Try using the Kernel found under /var/lib/systemimager/images/IMAGENAME/etc/systemimager/boot/kernel and /var/lib/systemimager/images/IMAGENAME/etc/systemimager/boot/initrd.img
Copy those into the /tftpboot directory and use those for the PXEBOOTING Sounds like a device issue that the kernel from the actual image should fix.
