No problem, I prefectly understand what you mean. ;-)

In the meanwhile I've been able to reproduce the problem installing my PS3 and
with rsync3.0.0pre4 I didn't see the error messages anymore (anyway I can't
explain why the problem doesn't occur when I try to install an i386). Just for
curiosity, which architecture are you using?
