Okay, can you have a look at the contents of your boel_binaries.tar.gz
and see if there are symlinks to non-existing files?

This again leads to potential failures in UYOK kernel/initrd generation.

How did you generate the UYOK kernel/initrd?  Re-run that same command
and post the output.  Better yet, if that command provides a --verbose
mode, do that.

Not really, unless you feel like manually adding files to
boel_binaries.tar.gz and decompressing initrd, mounting it and again
adding files manually to that initial ramdisk file.  Your best bet is
to use UYOK, since it does everything for you automatically.
