Bernard,

As it turns out, I was getting caught by some weird firmware thing the vendor
did to the hardware. I was working on a blade system, and for some reason, the
PXE boot would work the first time, but if I had to redo it a second time, it
wouldn't. I eventually accidentally found out if I removed the blade and
reseated it (disconnecting it from the power in the chassis), then it would
work again the first time after reset, and then not the 2nd, etc.

Thanks for the help, though.

Assuming the Linux distribution you are deploying supports your HD,
you can use the UYOK option for SystemImager, this will use the kernel
from your Linux distribution for booting and imaging your client
instead of the stock SystemImager kernel.

For more information regarding UYOK, see:

http://wiki.systemimager.org/index.php/UYOK

For OSCAR, this can be selected during the "Setup Networking" step.

Cheers,

Bernard
