Hi W3C,

First of all I'm not good at english, I'll try my best. I have a question about HTML Tables. Why if I want to tell all the <td> elements of the same column their width; I have to tell every <td> their width? In my noob mind.... I think makes sense If I give the first <td> of the column it's width; and the others <td> from this column takes the same width that the first <td>. This way is more easy and fast to html coders.

Pardon me if it's a silly question, and my sincerely apology and respect but I really want a answer because I want to understand.

Have a nice day!
