It seems that Skim opens PDF files with the table-of-contents (TOC) pane on by default (at least when a PDF file has a TOC). Also, Skim will open a search pane when I open a file via Spotlight.
I would like to have *all* of these panes off by default. Is there a hidden preference for accomplishing this?
