How does one adjust the font and style and color etc. of the text in text boxes? It seems that the only control is via the Preferences dialog and thus one can't set e.g. italic for particular words.
Also, at least when I use Helvetica 9 point for such text, the line spacing increases when I double-click to edit the text, then reverts to a very close line spacing when I click outside the box. This makes a cat-and-mouse game out of editing text and adjusting the text box to fit the text. It seems to me that text boxes should have the status of normal text a we are accustomed to elsewhere on the Mac such as in anchored notes.
