hi, i'm a new Skim user (mac 10.5.2, skim 1.0.3) and am observing what seems to be a strange behavior. when i recompile a latex document to .pdf, Skim reload the pdf file *twice*. similarly, when i recompile a latex document to .ps, skim converts the .ps to .pdf, reloads the .pdf, then reconverts the .ps to .pdf again, and reloads the .pdf again! this is very inefficient and i'd like to find a way around it. (i'm not using PDFSync at the moment.)
