I'm sure this is a PDFView thing and not a Skim thing, but I thought I'd bring it up.
A colleague noticed that whenever he spell checks a document typeset in LaTeX (using the standard roman serif fonts), Skim will find word breaks in the middle of some words (and copying and pasting will result in spaces added there). In particular, words with "j" in the middle of them. For example, "majority" will become "ma" and "jority" to the clipboard and spell checker. I'm sure this effect comes from LaTeX doing a little letter spacing to give extra room for the curl in the bottom of the "j." Is this a PDFView problem? Personally, I haven't tested Preview or Adobe Acrobat to see how they handle j's (and italicized ell's next to other italicized ell's). --Ted -- Ted Pavlic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
