I use pdfsync all the time with: MacBook Air Intel OSX 10.5.4 Skim version 1.1.10 (32) Mactex live 2007
I do so in combination with Aquamacs (1.3) and LyX (1.5.5) I do not use a special script. Just the syncing capabilities straight out of the box. Aquamacs: I've never had a problem with the automatic sync configuration between aquamacs and Skim. It works perfectly. Both ways in this case (forward and inverse search). Lyx: With LyX it generally works great (only inverse search available), excepts mysteriously, it stops working. I have posted about this erratic behavior on the LyX user groups here http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg66063.html I wondered if this was a problem with LyX or Skim. When it stops working I end up getting it back by shutting down both programs, deleting the LyX pipe file, changing the Skim configuration back and forth from the provided one to a full path custom one. To be honest, I haven't really understood what exactly brings it back to life. But eventually I get it back working. But it seems erratic. In reply to Ted Pavlic's question: With both apps, I never have a problem with the file getting automatically refreshed by Skim whenever the PDF (or DVI file, which I use sometimes) is modified. -Ivan On Jul 31, 2008, at 5:08 PM, Christiaan Hofman wrote: > Can anyone running Intel confirm whether PDFSync support in Skim > works?
