No, skimnotes convert is broken in the current version. The script I
gave still works though. It will be fixed in the next release. For
Skim that may be a while, probably it will be available as part of the
SkimNotes framework release (version 1.1.2) soon.

The next version of the skimnotes CLT (version 2.3) will be able to
handle PDF bundles, including conversions.
