Am I missing something or is it currently not possible
to use the annotation tools in presentation mode?

I really like using Skim for PDF presentations in classroom. Being able to use
annotations (especially, the new freehand tool) would be great for
online mark-up during the talk.

And while I'm asking:
Would be nice, if starting presentation mode could (at least optionally)
switch the screen-saving (ideally both, screensaver and energy-saving) settings to "never". Of course, I can do it in advance, but aren't we all lazy and,
even worse, forgetful...?

Best
