I'm working on an implementation of incremental reading (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incremental_reading
) in PDFs using highlights and exported notes. Since an extracted
portion of the document may be large, preserving the formated note via
RTF will be helpful for maintaining the original visual context of the
document when reviewing a note later. I'm just in the planning
stages, so I'm looking at the feasibility of this system using Skims
current note system.

I'm curious as to what some (or most?) Skim users use the RTF or RTFD
capabilities of Skim for? Nothing against RTF, its a file format
that has
been around a long time. What do people do with RTF / RTFD
particularly with
regard to annotations / notes exported out of Skim?
