No, but that's not necessary. Filtering items based on properties
matching some search text is just part of Cocoa since 10.4.

EagleFiler can find PDF that contain a given string as annotation. What's missing is showing you the page where it is. Skim can do it (as it can map notes to where they are in the PDF). Are you saying each note is a different item and that there is a way to may an item to where it is in the PDF?
