Rudi, Thanks you are absolutely correct. I deleted the Satimage.osax and the find statement changed to display a <<saticommand>>(not exactly this as I deleted it) , I replaced the command and the find command works as written. Ouch! It a bit like OS 9 extensions clash. Thanks again.
