I installed that and now have a new entity in the system preferences. If I "decouple" the mac and the remote control, I can use it to control skim. I tried to couple them again, functionality gone. Then I trashed Skims preferences (in ~/Library/Preferences/...) and now it works again, even with a "couple" the mac and the remote. Great! Daniel
