I can't get Skim to save any cropped versions of pages.
If I follow the cropping instructions, the pages visibly crop the way that I
intend. I've tried Save As to save the cropped version. But if I close the
document, and then re-open it, I still have my original uncropped pdf. This
is not a matter of changing the viewing setting under pdf to display the
cropped version. That does nothing. Indeed, typically when I re-open the
document, the cropped display is itself checked, but the display is of the
uncropped version.
Prior to closing a cropped document, toggling between media and cropped
display works the way that I would expect. But once I have cropped, saved,
closed and re-opended, toggling between display formats does nothing
After cropping, if I print before closing, the cropped version prints out.
So, as best I can tell nothing about the cropping survives closing the file
after cropping.
I'm running Skim 1.3.12 on Snow Leopard.
