It would be so useful to be able to create a highlight that spans multiple
pages, rather than being forced to end the highlight when I hit a page
break in the PDF. Even if the text content of the highlight note were
stored on the page where the highlight note began.
Even just automatically starting a new highlight on the next page if I
highlight across page breaks would still be better than nothing.
The only thing I could find about it is this:
