I haven't seen this discussed on the forum since Mavericks came out, so perhaps
its something that was always the case and I'm just now noticing, or perhaps
this is the re-drawing glitch that I've seen reference to. Having updated to
Mavericks only yesterday, though, I've noticed that when I export a Skim file
as PDF with embedded notes, the file size increases in size from approximately
80%-350%. I may be wrong, but I thought the previous file-size increases I had
experienced with Skim were similar to those when saving annotations in Adobe
Acrobat Pro. I also just noticed that the database I use to store the files
(DevonThink Pro Office) isn't recording the file-size increase in Mavericks. I
thought it had recorded the increase before, but, again, I may be wrong. That's
why I can't be certain whether this is a new or normal behavior.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts anyone has on this.
