I already figured out what is going wrong. It is a long time serious design bug in the system that Apple never bothered to fixed (and probably won’t be able to), and I forgot to work around. I will fix this for the next release. For now, you can work around this by editing the text of the note in a separate note window, by double-clicking the note itself. Christiaan
