Hi Jim, anyone correct me if I am wrong, but there are two ways to “search".
One is Search and the other is Find. (Edit > Find > Search Pdf; Edit > Find >
Find; each have their own shortcut)
It seems that whatever you put in Search, is kept there for that particular pdf
only. But what you put in Find is persistent when you switch between pdfs.
Presumably one is Skim functionality, the other is system functionality.
Would this explain what you did?
