Or you could use the xattr tool on the command line (Terminal.app). Using “xattr FILE.pdf” should list the extended attributes. When there are notes, it should either have net_sourceforge_skim-app_notes or net_sourceforge_skim-app_notes#S in the list. Do you see these, and which one? Christiaan
