This is unfortunately a bug that slipped into the last release. The “Fit” option should essentially do what you want, which is the same as choosing Window > "Fit to PDF" right after opening the document. Note that this still works. But apparently with the latest changes the system is a bit too slow in laying out the views, and the automatic Fit comes a bit too early for the proper calculations to work out properly. (This is already fixed for the next release). Christiaan
