Hi !, i posted this message some weeks ago, but because i haven't had any
answers, i ask it another time to see at least if somebody have managed to
run SKIP through ppp.
I'm trying to run SunScreen SKIP 1.1.1 through ppp in a SunOS 5.6 (x86)
Has anybody managed to run it through ppp ?
The problem is that SunScreen SKIP don't recognize the interface when i
try to run skiptool, also i have tried to run ppp before the skip rc's
when booting the system but doesn't work.
Here are some errors that it gave me :
# skipif -a
SKIP is already present on ppp0
# skiphost -i ppp0 -p
ppp0: saving interface state
ppp0: bringing interface down
skip: error - ppp0: bringing interface down FAILED - unsecure mode
# skiphost -i ppp0 -o off
skiphost: skip: not present on network interface ppp0
# skiphost -i ppp0 -o on
skiphost: skip: not present on network interface ppp0
# skiptool
skip: not present on network interface ppp0
skip: use "skipif -a" to configure interface
# skipif -a
SKIP is already present on ppp0
Of course when i executed this commands i had the ppp line up.
Also i've installed the next modules :
# modinfo |grep skip
99 f57aa000 af4 - 1 skip_bdc_rc2_cbc (rc2_cbc v1.17)
100 f5b00000 5bd8 99 1 skip_key (skip bulk data crypt v1.28)
101 f5b10000 15098 - 1 bsafe2_kern_lib (skip_bsafe2_lib v1.4)
102 f5439338 5c2 - 1 skip_bdc_rc4 (rc4 v1.22)
Thanks for all !
Bye !
