Dear Shri CA Mahendra Parab I do not understand your comment: *"MAT credit is also available for non-STPI business profits" * The case is as under: The STPI registered company makes Rs.1,00,000= profit. How ever sec 10A gives a deduction 100% being a STPI registered Company. So the net taxable income is *NIL*.
Now does the company have to pay 10% MAT tax on this 1,00,000 income? This is my question.
