Hi,

The maximum contribution permitted is 15% of salary. However, 80C does not
apply here, unless it is the employee who is contributing and not the employer.

Regards,
Rajesh

          Hi,

          Yes it is mandatory to prepare four copies
          of excise invoices.

          Original
          – customer copy

          Duplicate
          – Transporter copy

          Triplicate
          – Excise Department

          Quadruplicate
          - supplier

          We are using software authorized by excise
          department which is very helpful to generate the invoices and also
return
          filing purpose.

          Please refer link www.udyogexcise.com

          Best regards,

          Subject: EXCISE INVOICE - QUERY

          Hi to all,

          As per Excise rules it is mandatory to prepare excise invoices in
          triplicate. I want to know whether it is also mandatory to prepare
invoice
          using carbon paper or not?

          I mean to say that I want to print each copy of invoice separately.
Can
          there be any objection to the excise department to that.

          Waiting for replies from
          all.
