*Hello every one, the long awaited Budget 2009 of the UPA has been released. It is supposed to be an aamm aadmee budget. What it has in store for aadmee that is individuals? See table below:
* * Particulars * *Rich and upper middle with income above 10lakh per annum* *Poor and middle income with lesser than 10 lakh income.* *Tax savings* *saving on tax as * *1-> surcharge 10.03% withdrawn resulting in saving of minimum of 21,115.00 plus * *2-> Another 1,133 that he gets due to increase in basic slab to 160000* *Just a peanut of 1030.00 flat.* *For residence* *Rich have their own house and if need be can borrow and get self occupied house loan interest deduction of 150000.* *Buying a house is beyond his reach with the high cost. And for the rent he pays he gets a peanut of 24000 pa u/s 80GG* *PROBABLY the UPA government feels that people with more than a million income are the aamm aadmee. How i wish it were true. * *I do not know how many of the members will fall under last column.
