The implemention of challan 17 has been deferred till further notification . Hi, Can anybody will tell me about the status of Challan no.17 which is supposed to be instrumental in payment of TDS w.e.f. July’09? At present we are using challan 281 for deposit of TDS into Govt. custody, but it was circulated that for depositing TDS of July’09 & onwards we have to use Challan 17 instead of challan 281.
