Dear All
A ferocious Tsunami spawned by one of the largest earthquakes in Japan on 11th March 2011 triggers Fukushima Nuclear Plant destruction. It is raising more concerns about the future of Nuclear Energy. Do we need Nuclear Energy for the future generation? If yes then the world must take necessary measures to avoid destruction of Nuclear Plants by natural Calamities like earthquake and Tsunami. The following steps can be taken: 1. The plants which are not having proper safety system to avoid the destruction by natural calamities must be shut down. 2. The new nuclear plants must be kept underground with having facilities to lock the radiation in case of any accident. 3. The safety measures of the existing Nuclear Plants has to be upgraded taking into consideration of all kind of natural destruction, even though the existing place is considered to be safe. 4. In the event of earth quake or Tsunami if there is any destruction to the plant, the plant has to be completely closed with solid concrete. Therefore, it is recommended to go for undergrounded Nuclear Plants, so that it will help us to close in the event of natural calamities.
